簡介:

「恐怖故事」的新劇《靈界》（The Fades）被製片人描述為「相當長一段時期內人們在電視上見過的最嚇人的電視劇集」。該劇描述一個17歲少年能夠看見死者的精靈，一種被稱為「逝者」的東西。這種東西不是鬼魂，不是吸血鬼和狼人，也不是民間傳說中任何一種怪物，而是一種全新的東西。活人見不到他們，聽不到他們，聞不到他們，也感覺不到他們的存在。但是如今生與死的界限開始模糊，「逝者」突破束縛進入了活人的世界。一個叫Paul的少年能夠用肉眼看到「逝者」，他和他的朋友Mac將承擔起驅除邪靈、保護人類的重任。一開始，Paul總是被「世界末日」的噩夢驚醒，他的心理醫生對此無能為力。後來Paul親眼見到自己身邊被「逝者」環繞，才明白發生了什麼事。與此同時，女主角Sarah能夠預見未來，並因此遭到「逝者」的襲擊。當Sarah神秘消失後，她的前夫Mark開始四處尋找她。

Paul returns home following his time in hospital. Meg, Mac, Anna and Jay are pleased but DC Armstrong is concerned with the escalation of missing persons and murder cases in the local area. A crisis centre is opened at the school and Paul’s family go there hoping to find Anna’s boyfriend, Steve. Angelics Alice and Phil try to convince DC Armstrong to evacuate the whole town. Neil and Sarah go ahead with a plan to learn more about the threat posed by the Fades who are now being reborn in human form.
