簡介:
故事描述一名外科醫生死去的妻子以一種”顯靈”的方式回歸

Michael Holt（Patrick Wilson）是一名外科醫生
他的病人非富即貴 他也因此躋身上流社會 過著燈紅酒綠的奢華生活
但這種生活卻因為妻子Anna（Jennifer Ehle）的突然過世而改變了他的後半生

Anna是個理想主義者 在一家提供免費醫療服務的社區診所裡任職
和喜歡在上流社會打滾丈夫相比 Anna更喜歡幫助社會邊緣及弱勢族群

Anna的死對Michael打擊很大 一直無法振作起來
